Cheesy baked eggplant


This is healthier way to eat eggplant. Think of eggplant Parmesan but without the breading frying and extra fat. If you are a fan of eggplant or trying to enjoy a spin off of eggplant Parmesan you'll definitely enjoy this.








Ingredients:

4 large eggplants 
2 cups of pasta sauce 
1 table spoon basil
1 tablespoon oregano
2 table spoons of Italian seasoning
1 table spoon on garlic powder
1 bag of shredded cheese  
1/4 cup of water



Method:

Step 1: cut eggplant into thin large slices
Step 2: sprinkle basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, over eggplant.
Step 3: put eggplant in a baking dish grease if necessary
Step 4: pour water over the eggplant
Step 5: add pasta sauce 
Step 6: bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes 
Step 7: remove dish and add cheese 
Step 8: bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted

This recipe calls for no milk so it is perfect! In a short time or if you've run out of milk you can bake these too. Hey guys, Just saw that this little blog has reached close to 1000 views. I'm really excited you all found time to visit this blog. A lot has been going on in my life. I moved to Australia and now trying to manage two blogs this one and my http://cancookncraft.weebly.com/. I'm dealing with the ins and outs of everyday life and trying to study, maintain a house and myself. It's been one crazy year so far, I'm also getting used to the metric system and everything being backwards.
