Easy No-Milk Home Made Biscuits
This is something I've always wanted to make but since I happen to be lactose intolerant I usually don't keep dairy in the house. This recipe calls for no milk so it is perfect! In a short time or if you've run out of milk you can bake these too.
Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon of dried parsley
3 teaspoons of baking powder
6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2/3 of a cup of water
Yield: 15-20 biscuits
Method:
Step 1: Mix together salt, flour, Italian seasoning, parsley, baking powder until well combined
Step 2: Create a small well in the middle of the flour and add vegetable oil and water mix well
Step 3: On a floured surface begin to kneed the dough
Step 4: Once the dough is ready roll out until it is half an inch thick
Step 5: Use a cup or a cookie cutter to cut out circular pieces
Step 6: grease a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden brown
Step 7: while still hot you can use a pastry brush and cover with a little melted butter
Enjoy!
