Curry Bites

Curry Bites

Now I must admit some cheating on this recipe I used some left over curry that my wonderful other half made. We usually buy the packets and follow the instructions so here is the recipe for the yummy outer shell that looks a lot more complicated than it is.

Ingredients:

  • ·                                     1 teaspoon yeast
  • ·                                     1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • ·                                     3/4 cup water
  • ·                                     2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ·                                     1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ·                                     3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for the bowl
  • ·                                     Butter and flour to grease the pan
  • ·                                     1 egg

Method:

Step 1: Mix dry ingredients salt, flour, yeast, sugar, in a mixing bowl
Step 2: Add wet ingredients water, olive oil to bowl
Step 3: Kneed the dough until it forms into a ball
Step 4: divide dough into halves and begin to roll out from the center
Step 5:Shape and fill with desired filling curry works really well with this dough
Step 6: Add a basic egg wash to edges for golden topping

Apple Punch Here is one of my favorite combinations apple and tequila it may sound strange but trust me its delicious. Here's how to make it... Ingredients 10 oz of tequila (dark) 1 bottle of apple juice around 1 liter 1 16 oz bottle of soda water or ginger ale  1 apple  Method Step 1: core and peel the apple and chop into small pieces put in punch bowl Step 2: pour apple juice, tequila and top with soda water Step 3: mix with a large spoon Enjoy!  Tips *If you are not a fan of tequila, vodka can be used instead but use a little less because vodka has a stronger taste  *You can add a few spoons of brown sugar to it if it's too strong or add more apple juice  *You can garnish with apple slices on each glass
